Affordable Law For You

We are a firm of legal consultants who provide legal assistance to private individuals, consumers and small businesses to help people understand their legal rights and deal themselves with legal problems. All advice given and work carried out is subject to our following disclaimer and conditions of use. Your statutory rights are not affected.

By using the services of Affordable Law For You you are agreeing that under no circumstances will it or its affiliates, or any lawyer or consultant or any person connected with the firm be responsible for:

  1. Any person's reliance on any information advice or guidance, whether or not the information is correct, current or complete.

  2. The consequences of any action you or any other person takes or fails to take, whether or not based on information provided by us or as a result of the use of the services of Affordable Law for You or any advice given by or representation made by any lawyer or consultant on behalf or otherwise of the firm.

  3. The failure or refusal of any lawyer or consultant to offer you his or her services.

  4. None of our services include the cost of litigation, and the liabilities incurred in taking Court action. These should be discussed separately and be fully understood before proceeding.

  5. Use of our services is subject to our fair use policy. What constitutes fair use is at the sole discretion of Affordable Law for You.

  6. Our areas of practice are subject to change at any time. Although we are able to advise on various legal matters, there are areas where we do not have sufficient expertise to advise. We reserve the right to refuse instructions or to advise on certain matters at our sole discretion.

  7. Although our legal team will use their best endeavours to try and achieve the client's objectives, payment for a service does not guarantee that these objectives will always be reached.

  8. Affordable Law for You are Legal Consultants and provide a legal information and assistance consultancy and are not a registered incorporated legal practice. Therefore no user of this site will be entitled to indemnity from the Solicitors Indemnity Fund or other professional indemnity insurer. Should you wish to use the services of a solicitor you should contact an incorporated firm of solicitors with the relevant professional indemnity cover.

  9. The information, documents, advice and other services, available on the Site is provided on an "as is" basis and is only a guide to the most relevant situations in each legal subject area and should not be construed as specific legal advice.

  10. Legal assistance is provided in order that costs savings can be made by Litigant acting in person. As such and as we are not a registered firm of solicitors, we are unable to go on to the Court record as acting.

  11. We can only advise on the legal position in England and Wales.

  12. Although in the majority of instances you will receive your information within 72 hours, on some occasions we may need to contact other departments or carry out research on your behalf, which may take a longer period. All matters will, however, be dealt with expeditiously and within a reasonable time.

  13. No right of cancellation or refund exists under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

  14. The person responsible for the supervision of all persons in the firm is Ms Deborah E Aloba. If you have a complaint about our service you should take it up with Deborah E Aloba in the first place.   15. Links may be made from third party websites to the Site subject to the following conditions:
